My kids understand what it means to engage their dad as a pastor. My life understands what it means to engage to journey I am on. You may engage what's before you in your life. But how are we engaging our God? What is He calling us to engage?

How is God Asking You To Engage?

Here are a few questions as we wrap this week's look at what it means to engage:

1) Engage Life: How is God asking you to engage life with him? Everything begins with that question. Where are you still waiting to Buy-In, Risk, or take Responsibility with a life with God? He is more loving, compassionate than you know; don't wait to engage life with Him. Do it now.

2) Don't Settle: How are you settling? Where does your life look like something that's been passed over? This is not how God wants you to live? He knows you more than you could even imagine. He knows what your good at, what your called to do. Do settle for anything less that what He's calling you to do.

3) Read Your Bible: How are you engaging the Bible in a way that it costs you something? Where are you risking time in the text to show how you follow God? Through the Bible God will speak to you the kind of life you are to live. So, pick it up. Read it. And engage with God.
