Psalm 103:13
You are not a little snowflake. You are not a precious flower. You are not an amazing person just waiting to blossom. You can't do anything in life you want, no matter how hard you try. Your not limitless in your power like you thought when you were young.
You are a child of God, a Son or Daughter. You've been carried here by your Father to live in this place. You've been given this time. You are nearer now to where you are called to be than you know. In everything you do, may you strive to become more His own child and less your own amazing person.
To find yourself, you must loose yourself. Loose yourself in being His Son or Daughter. Loose yourself in the mystery that he would call you His own. Find the weight of your existence in His perfect loving hands, which long to draw you close.
My faithfulness and my steadfast love shall be with him,
and in my name shall his horn be exalted.
I will set his hand on the sea
and his right hand on the rivers.
He shall cry to me, ‘You are my Father,
my God, and the Rock of my salvation.’
